Kids on Campus

Mission Statement

Kids on Campus is a rural partnership that empowers under-served, at-risk children and their families in the realization of their full potential through educational, nutritional and recreational opportunities.

Guiding the organization are the beliefs that every child has the potential to succeed, education is the key to the future, and a supportive home and community environment is essential to achieving educational and social potential.

Non-Profit Profile

Since 1996, Kids on Campus has been engaging Athens County youth in quality out-of-school time programming. This grant-funded community partnership, which began as a means to serve summer meals to our children, has evolved to a year-round academic, enrichment and recreation program serving over 600 children each year. With the understanding that education is a key factor in living a healthy and informed lifestyle, Kids on Campus strives to improve the health and welfare of our children through a holistic approach.
